Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ vs 10 vs 10 lite

Samsung started with two Note flagships, i.e. Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. Joining this duo is Galaxy Note 10 Lite. From the perspective of features and design, the Note 10 and Note 10+ are more similar.

What’s common between the three?
All of these models feature:
  • Bluetooth-enabled S Pen
  • Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor
  • Software experience from One UI

Let’s do a comparative evaluation and dig deeper into their features:

1. Physical dimensions and build
All three have different sizes and weights with Note 10 Lite being the heaviest at 199 grams. It does not have the largest display either. The device also lacks the IP68 water protection which the other features. Note 10 Lite has a 3.5mm headphone socket

Note 10 and the Note 10+ don’t. In terms of build, the Note 10 and Note 10+ are almost clones of each other. Note 10 Lite has a smooth metal frame that is slightly curved for ergonomic comfort.

2. Display
The Galaxy Note models feature super AMOLED panels of the Infinity-O design. They feature a hole-punch design called Infinity-O display, which all three phones feature.

Note 10 Lite has a 6.7-inches display. It doesn’t have the HDR10+ support which the other two offer. However, it does have Full HD+ resolution of 394ppi.

The Note 10 has a 6.3-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 401ppi.

Note 10+ offers the largest display amongst the three with a 6.8-inch screen. It also has a fourth sensor on the back for collating information, which 10 doesn’t. Note 10+ has a Quad HD+ resolution. In this reference, the Note 10+ display is the best at 498ppi.

3. Hardware, RAM, and storage
The Galaxy Note Lite features Exynos 9810, which is less powerful than the other two devices that have flagship-grade hardware. You can choose from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, or the Exynos 9825 — depending on the version you buy.

On the storage front, Lite also has lower RAM and storage at 128GB storage with microSD.

Note 10 has 8GB of RAM onboard with 256GB of storage and no microSD support.

Note 10+ has 12GB of RAM and is available in two options — 256GB or 512GB. Both have microSD support. On the basis of hardware and storage, the Note 10+ is a better handset.

#Ttip: Note 10+ also comes in a 5G version. With good 5G services in Riyadh, definitely a plus!

4. Battery
Note 10 Lite leads battery capacity at 4500mAh. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has 3500mAh and 10+ offers a 4300mAh battery. Considering it has fewer features than the other two, Note 10 Lite offers the best battery capacity amongst the three.
